Korean manufacturer KUPP CO., LTD partners with Costa Rican investors to launch KUPP America, offering HDPE ducts and pipes in the Americas. 

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA – January 16, 2023 – KUPP CO, LTD and a group of Costa Rican investors have signed a joint venture (JV) agreement to manufacture, supply, sell High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) ducts and pipes catering to the telecommunication, electricity & power, water supply, construction & engineering sectors in Latin America.  

The joint venture, Corporación KUPP America S.A (KUPP America), situated in Turrialba, Costa Rica, will produce HDPE ducts and pipes for local customers and for export to neighboring markets. This partnership will benefit from technology transfer and continuous R&D support from KUPP CO., LTD in Korea. Operations, including manufacturing, supply, and sales. Additionally, KUPP America will establish commercial offices in Miami, Florida, to act as a trade center for the region and to expand its network of distributors and clients in Latin America.
